NOTE : I no longer promote Craftsy/Bluprint as I used to due to the way the subscription is currently being carried out. I had the issue of cancelling my subscription when the company changed hand and I find that cancelling through calls is inconvenient. However, I do still stand behind these classes I promote and if you are subscribed, you can surely check these classes I recommend on the platform. If you are looking for another online platform to learn craft such as quilting, do check out CreativeBug. It is much cheaper in subscription (subscribe now 3 months for only $5). Thank you.

Welcome to another “Three of 3 on A Tuesday”. I will have THREE things or links of 3 topics for you to visit/read every Tuesday to either showcase tutorials, inspirations, random daily thoughts or it could be any fabric/notion sales running that particular week. So for today, here are the THREE of 3 things:

3 Fabric Spotlight

I have this problem – when I do less sewing, I seem to shop for more fabrics. I am able to resist it better these days but this is the usual trend. The less I sew, the more I buy. I guess it is one of those feeling, where I tell myself that maybe buying will motivate me to sew very soon. Sometimes it works, but sometimes, life just takes over and I am left with more guilt at the end.

Lately, instead of buying on an instant though, I tell myself to go sew first and treat myself later. So, this week I have been just window shopping. Here are some of the fabrics I am looking forward to buy someday to treat myself.

  1. I saw this bundle and fell in love. The colors are just divine. What kind of makes me feel better and less guilty of window shopping instead of sewing is that there are also 20 other people who have this bundle in their cart. :p
  2. I am loving dark greens these days. This two fabric HERE and HERE is definitely one that fits perfectly in that category.
  3. Almost didn’t make it through when I saw this bundle. The mushroom print in that one. Perfect size, perfect color. I need to get sewing soon so I can really do treat myself.

Fat Quarter Shop Basic of the Month Sale

3 things you can check out

  1. I recently posted 5 of the best-recommended sewing machines for free motion quilting, and this machine is one of the alternative and currently on limited sale. Check it’s current price HERE>
  2. Looking for extra table space that can be easily folded to save space? This one is a great option. I recently posted a video of me quilting a large quilt on a domestic machine and as I mentioned in that video, table space is important.
  3. Make mini bolts with your fat quarter stash these boards. They make stash look like a mini fabric shop.

3 goals this week

  1. Tidy sewing room and do a short video tour around the sewing room
  2. Start back on track for my UFO challenge this year. I didn’t sew according to the list for a while, it’s time for a review.
  3. Watch how to make an organize bag on mybluprint.com. Which class are you currently watching on bluprint?
