NOTE : I no longer promote Craftsy/Bluprint as I used to due to the way the subscription is currently being carried out. I had the issue of cancelling my subscription when the company changed hand and I find that cancelling through calls is inconvenient. However, I do still stand behind these classes I promote and if you are subscribed, you can surely check these classes I recommend on the platform. If you are looking for another online platform to learn craft such as quilting, do check out CreativeBug. It is much cheaper in subscription (subscribe now 3 months for only $5). Thank you.

Welcome to another “Three of 3 on A Tuesday”. I will have THREE things or links of 3 topics for you to visit/read every Tuesday to either showcase tutorials, inspirations, random daily thoughts or it could be any fabric/notion sales running that particular week. So for today, here are the THREE of 3 things:

3 Awesome Lucy Boston Quilts

Last week in 3 of Three Tuesday, I mentioned that I am all inspired to come back to start more of Lucy Boston quilts. Today, I’ll share three of my favorite one I found around the net.

  1. I first fell in love with the pattern when I saw this quilt. Bouquet Royale – a perfect name. You know how much I love the quilting part of a quilt.  They just enhance the pattern of the quilt even more. She’s won many awards and her quilting work is just breathtakingly beautiful. I just can’t stop staring at all of her quilts! I guess that’s what they are made for, and she does a great job for that reason.
  2. This Lucy Boston quilt was also quilted by the same person, but was made by another quilter. Also amazing.
  3. The colours and the modern look with a slightly different setting of the blocks makes this quilt a stunner too. Something close to my choice of colours too.  The size of the quilt looks pretty manageable, though I do have a problem with small quilts – I just like to make big quilts!

  3. New to EPP: This is a complete kit to get started! Great to have for travelling too.

3 things I am obsessed about this week

  1. Online classes. I have always been obsessed about these, but I think these days, I am spending tons of time learning online with Craftsy Unlimited subscription and a whole lot of other options too. This week I took advantage of the sale going on Creative Live. Nothing quilt related but still a lot of learning things I love about. For example- surface Pattern Designing. Maybe a little quilt related but I just love this and I love Bonnie. Need to make time though with practice.
  2. Mindsetting and manifesting. Law of Attraction. Reading, podcast listening and absorbing a lot about this at the moment. But Oprah’s talk here about it just sync with me and it keeps me so motivated! Let go and Let God.
  3. Gardening! O yes – I have been spending my “right after work time, around 6-7pm” tending to my vegetable garden. I love that they are finally looking a lot bushier and flowers are popping – which means harvest is coming. Gardening also reminds me that things take time, but with little by little things flourish and rewards you. I love this book that mention a lot about this!
