Another fun quilt along coming up! I am all geared up for a fun quilt along with Fat Quarter Shop using the book Simply Half Yards.
I’ll be sharing some of the fun quilts in this book which are all amazing! I love lots of the design in this book and can’t wait to get started with the sampler that we have for the quilt along!
The pattern for the quilt along is a new free layout using some of the blocks in the book. The setting is beautiful and I can never get enough star blocks, so it was an easy YES for me to join the quilt along.

Simply Half-Yards Quilt Book
The book is spiral bound which I love, as it makes it so easy to flip and put on my bookstand.
The cover quilt is so cute, and there are many fun quilts that I wanted to make from this book.
There are 16 quilts in total in the book, and there is various sizes quilts in the book.

I love the idea of making big block quilt like this one:
Something about the greenery and this block simply match! I think this will be a perfect quilt for a man too.
There are many more, so it was to choose my favorite. But I think the cover quilt is my favorite and up higher on my list to make.
