NOTE : I no longer promote Craftsy/Bluprint as I used to due to the way the subscription is currently being carried out. I had the issue of cancelling my subscription when the company changed hand and I find that cancelling through calls is inconvenient. However, I do still stand behind these classes I promote and if you are subscribed, you can surely check these classes I recommend on the platform. If you are looking for another online platform to learn craft such as quilting, do check out CreativeBug. It is much cheaper in subscription (subscribe now 3 months for only $5). Thank you.

3 FREE tutorial for using up Precut Fabrics

Last week in my newsletter I mentioned that I have been watching Precut Shortcut Quilting  – and this week I have been seeing precuts everywhere. Doesn’t always happen like that? When you think of something and suddenly its everywhere. Anyway, today I thought I’d share with you three among my favourite FREE tutorial for precut fabrics!

  1. I know there’s a ton of Free Tutorial on Moda Bakeshop, but this one is definitely on my wishlist to make someday. Glad I could bookmarked this here, cause I have always been inspired to make a Moroccan Tile-inspired quilt.
  2. Here is a quick and fun one using a layer cake. Easy yet beautiful and I love the tutorial.
  3. When I think Precuts, I can’t stay away from Jenny’s Tutorial. She’s just the best at it. Here is another of my favourite of her tutorials.

3 Thing Precut related you may want to check out.

  1. This Jelly Roll Rug! It seems like everyone is making it and their finishes are so beautiful! Also on my wishlist to make. Get the pattern HERE.
  2. This collection got me thinking of summer – we live in tropical country now, but there’s something about summer in the 4 season country that made me really appreciate summer. I love that the collection comes in precut too!
  3. Precuts that are cut in price at the moment.

3 things I am browsing this week

  1. I have been enjoying the #quiltmarket feed!
  2. I am also enjoying #samplespree feed. Something about bundle of fabrics just suck me in.
  3. I have been browsing for a new non-fiction book to listen to- give me your suggestion please..
