Welcome to another “Three of 3 on A Tuesday”. I will have THREE things or links of 3 topics for you to visit/read every Tuesday to either showcase tutorials, inspirations, random daily thoughts or it could be any fabric/notion sales running that particular week. 3 Modern Traditional Quilters To Follow
I love following inspiring quilters out there, but lately, I love these three amazing modern quilters. If you haven’t followed them yet, take a peek and enjoy the burst of inspirations and colors!
- Emily Dennis of Quilty Love. Not only she makes beautiful quilts and pattern, she also shares a lot of the biz side on her Insta stories and Blog.
- Erica Jackman of Kitchen Table Quilting. Check out her FREE series on Giant Blocks. Awesome idea!
- Meghan of Then Came June. Check out her beautiful flying geese quilt and the 4 cute holiday pattern!
Of course, there are many more in my feed that really just inspires me and feed me with beautiful quilt pictures but these three definitely are those that I go and look for lately.
I’ll be linking another 3 quilters in the newsletter this week – but it’ll be a different set of Quilters – so, go subscribe to Fairy Newsletter if you haven’t!
3 helpful tools and gadgets to have
- Hate the quilty maths? This is a great tool to have to quickly calculate all the required yardage you’ll need and more! A review even says it is an Invaluable Quilting Tool!. Go check this tool out HERE>
- This needle is a great one to have if you have trouble getting the threads into the needle’s eye. You won’t need a needle threader with these needles. Great for hand stitch projects that require lots of rethreading.
- This gadget is a big upgrade to the quilting world. We’ll definitely be seeing more of this around. Since it’ll be a big investment, I’d say read the reviews first!
3 things I am looking forward to this week
- Hand stitching the binding on my Double Wedding Ring Quilt! Thank you to those who were cheering me on Instagram to the finish line quilting that massive quilt! It was a lot of fun.
- A new week after mid-semester at Uni. Uni is so quiet without students around. I love short breaks, a good refresh, and this week I am super prepped for classes.
- Transplanting my tomato plants into the garden bed. We don’t have seasons here in Malaysia. It is always a hot humid summer. But sometimes a little too hot. Hopefully, my baby tomato will survive to fruit – I planted from seed, so, it is kind of exciting!
