NOTE : I no longer promote Craftsy/Bluprint as I used to due to the way the subscription is currently being carried out. I had the issue of cancelling my subscription when the company changed hand and I find that cancelling through calls is inconvenient. However, I do still stand behind these classes I promote and if you are subscribed, you can surely check these classes I recommend on the platform. If you are looking for another online platform to learn craft such as quilting, do check out CreativeBug. It is much cheaper in subscription (subscribe now 3 months for only $5). Thank you.
Welcome to another “Three of 3 on A Tuesday”. I will have THREE things or links of 3 topics for you to visit/read every Tuesday to either showcase tutorials, inspirations, random daily thoughts or it could be any fabric/notion sales running that particular week. So for today, here are the THREE of 3 things:
There are affiliate links within this post, in which I may earn a small commission if you take action. Please find my full disclosure here.
3 cute things that I want to add to my to make list
- I am definitely going to make this someday – a perfect mushroom fairy ring! Maybe just a mini or a runner would be a great little project. (free pattern)
- I haven’t crocheted for a while, but this is too cute not try! Besides, I now have access to wonderful Craftsy Classes and can just refresh my crochet skill there. If you are a Craftsy Unlimited members, make sure you make use of it too. (free pattern)
- I think I have put this on my list already – but I just need to move it up on top of the list so I can get to it faster – super cute for spring. Great to use any layer cake you have around. (video tutorial) I am going to be using the layer cake in photo above – what do you think?
3 things you don’t want to miss
- I know this has been out a while already, but something tells me I need this – both colors are just singing to me!
- Surprise Happy Mail is always great – if you need a spring gift for yourself, book this out.
- This book, this book and this book of English Paper Piecing Books is on Sale. Talk about books, do you love kindle version or physical books? You can save a lot buying kindle – but it seems to not work for me. How about you?
3 things I learned this week
- I learned a lot when I listened to this episode of Abby’s Podcast. And though I have been following this quilter since a few years back, the podcast just confirms how inspiring this quilter is in encouraging small business of quilters and sewist. Amazing stories and the whole one hour listen was full of golden nuggets. You probably are a follower already, but if you are not, follow this quilter HERE.
- I learned to write like this from this post which I found to be very light, yet very deep.
- I learned that I can batch work. I completed my Sewcial Bee Sampler Quilting and batched the photo taking and editing process. Now, I will batch write the post and put it on schedule so I can focus on putting them together into a quilt. Wait for that tutorial to come okay?
What pattern did you come across this week that you may want to make in the future? What have you learned this week?
Pop your comment down below. I’d love to hear it!

Aww, thank you Kathy, your comments are so meaningful to me. I always tell myself, I’d post this and even if only one person would benefit from it, be inspired from it or just make them happier that day – then it’ll be worth it. And when you comment like this, that just makes me feel I’m doing it right and that makes me happy!. So thank you. I do love research and browsing a lot. And it would be much fun to share them so more people can enjoy them. Thanks for visiting often!
