Hi friends, can you believe it’s the end of the year already? As I look back, I’m so grateful for all the sewing time I carved out in 2024. I feel like I didn’t have much time to sew in 2024 as much I would love to. But those small carved time before I go for work most of the days do adds up!

I thought it’d be fun to share a quick recap of what I worked on this year. Maybe it’ll inspire some ideas for next year too!

Progressed Projects

Next are projects that were progressed along the year. These are larger quilts in the making and due to the repeated nature of the quilt blocks, I like to work on them few blocks at a time. I am glad to report, that these two has definitely seen big progress this year. I will be sharing a quilt top soon for sure!

Organizational Milestones

Other than those quilting projects, I also want to mentioned that this year, I managed to do a little more on organizing my stash and sewing room.

  1. Revamped Sewing Space – I started the year by giving my sewing space a big makeover, and it’s made such a difference, and I’m happy to report, I’m still loving the setup! So we might just update few things for 2025.. Read more.

Looking Ahead to 2025

As I think about what’s next, I’m excited to carry forward the lessons and joys from this year. Reflecting on these projects helps me see what’s worked well—like staying organized and tackling smaller projects in between bigger ones—and what I want to do more of, like finishing those WIPs! Here’s to another year of stitching, creating, and sharing our love for quilting.

Tell me, what’s your plan for 2025?

I’ll be making my plans soon, and if you want to get inspired, come and join the quilting planning party over at The Quilting Jet Girl.

  1. I so enjoy your blog ! Your quilts are beautiful. I have several quilts I hope to make in 2025 and will try to sew every day , even if it is for only an hour.

  2. Hi! I just made some serious fabric purchases! My local fabric shop just had a sale 30% off all in store stock. Yup some serious fabric came home! On another note in 2024, I finished a number of wall hanging and quilts….. not to mention helped in the making of blocks for our guilds call to made Valour Quilts. I even made two Valour Quilts myself for our soldiers! This coming yer , 2025 , I am planning to finish the kits I have bough before 2024.
I want to cut my scraps into useable sizes so they will be sewn into scrap quilts. This will help with controlling my scraps. Our guild has a call out for quilts that can be donated to our regional children’s hospital. I plan to help!
I enjoy and encourage you to keep doing what you’re doing! Thank you and I say happy new year!
