Fabric for Halloween Memories Quilt Along
Well, you can go ahead and check out the choices over HERE>. But basically you can be as free as you want with your own choice of colour! You can even make it in other colours and make it not Halloween-ish! The pattern is so versatile for any colours for sure.
As for me, I’ll be using this bundle of goodness with a little hint of purple I picked to match the bundle. The bundle I’m using is called Pumpkin Licorice by Andover Fabric. You can find the bundle HERE> if it is still available. It’s the perfect blend of blacks and orange! I can’t wait to see this quilt come together.
As you can see, I am not going far from the quilt in the book in terms of the colour choices as I really like the look of the quilt. I am also going. to be using some of the foundation paper piecing notions to help me speed through the repetitive units in the quilt. This is going to be so much fun.
I love Susan Ache’s quilts, the scrappiness look of her quilts is inspiring. And the book as always with all of It’s Sew Emma’s patterns and book – the pattern is so well done! I also bought her Summer Memories book which you can read more about HERE> That book and this one both are amazing! So many eye-candy.
So grab your copy of Halloween Memories Book today – there’s so many beautiful quilts to make from the book. you can make a Halloween quilt or choose a different colours scheme and make an any season quilt!

I’ve never made a Halloween quilt, so maybe this is my year. I just love the pumpkin & licorice colorway too!
I love the Pumpkin & Licorice collection too. My Halloween quilts are usually made with fabric collections that contain spooky images.

I love the dark purple, acid green and bright pumpkin orange of Halloween quilts! When I was little I would pick out orange and purple outfits to wear! But my mom would ALWAYS make me go change!😟 Sewing up these patterns would be sew fun!
Halloween and quilt a-longs are such a fun combination! Including a purple fabric in your choices is just perfect, in my opinion!
