Hi,
Welcome to the email-series mini course of Free Motion Quilting for Beginners.
Firstly, I would like to thank you for signing up for this course, and let me tell you, I am over the moon that you did.
I am so excited to have you in this mini-course to kick-start your free motion quilting adventure.
If you haven’t got to know me much, let me just quickly introduce myself. I am Amira, a passionate quilter and sewist and the author behind The Little Mushroom Cap blog. I fell in love with quilting back in 2011 when I was abroad from my hometown studying in Australia.
I have always quilted all my quilt myself on my own sewing machine even my very first one. Partly, this is because of the tight budget (I was on student allowance) but mostly it was because I fell in love with free motion quilting.
Hence, I would love to invite you to learn free motion quilting with me and who knows, you might love it as much as I do!

In this mini course, you will be getting daily emails from me with each small lessons which I have broken down to make it easier for you to take in 10-20 minutes a day.
The reason for this is that I’d like to eliminate overwhelm which can be paralyzing. I believe that small progress matters than not progressing at all.
Besides, I want you to take it slow, enjoy and practice the lessons well before moving to the next one. And one more thing – I believe you could carve out 10-20 minutes a day for this right?
Great. I am excited to start.
