I’m so excited to share that I just finished my latest quilt top, and it’s super sweet! This one features beautiful tulips made with a lovely, soft color fabric collection. The pattern is called Bobbin Blooms, and it’s an exclusive pattern to the Sew Sampler Box from Fat Quarter Shop. If you’re not subscribed to the box but want a chance to win the pattern, be sure to check out the “sew with me” video. In the video, I walk you through my process of making this quilt and share some of my favorite piecing tips.

I had such a great time making this quilt! I adore tulips, and having them in a quilt makes it feel like spring all year long. Working with the soft color fabric collection was such a joy—the colors are so calming and perfect for a spring-themed quilt. This quilt is a perfect baby size, measuring just right to wrap around a little one or to be used as a decorative throw.
The process of piecing this quilt was really enjoyable. The Bobbin Blooms pattern is well-designed, and I found it easy to follow. It’s Sew Emma’s pattern is always on point! I love their detailed, fully illustrated pattern.
I included some of my personal tips in the “sew with me” video to help you along the way if you decide to make one yourself. The tulips came together beautifully, and seeing the quilt top complete with all those soft colors was so satisfying.
Next up, I’ll be doing custom free motion quilting on this beauty. I’m planning some fun and whimsical designs to complement the tulips. I am hoping to record the quilting process to share with you all. I hope it inspires you to try some custom quilting on your projects too!
This quilt has truly brought joy, and I can’t wait to see it all finished. I’m sure it will make its way to a lucky little one soon, bringing a touch of spring to their days.

Such a cute pattern. I agree I would leave the tulips all upright too. I’m amazed at how organized you are and very envious too. Lined the video.
Currently I’m working on a Unicorn Quilt for my granddaughter.
Nice pattern and vidoe. Clear and concise – love to make this one for a summer quilt! Light batting, maybe a signature quilt with people signing in the baoxes below the pots or on the flower pots. Thanks!
Love the video and the shortcuts you share. I’m working on a USA patriotic quilt.
Bloom. I love flowers too and tulips are a favorite.
Thank you!
Love this Bloom pattern. I am currently working on sandwiching my barn star quilt. I have about 10 different quilts in some form of completion! ha

I am working on 2 quilts for babies coming this fall!
Nice pattern. I am working on a quilt for my son using neutrals. It is one of the Jay birds patterns and I think it may be called boomerang but it is a hexagon type pattern and I’m using neutrals and greys.

Thanks for the reminder to be sure blocks are lined up when sashing goes on. Your quilt is beautiful is those sweet soft colors.
